THE COLOR CENTER / CARPET ONE

The Color Center had it's start in 1957. At first we were just a paint store serving the Excelsior area. Through the years we have grown into a full service home decorating store. We are now in our fourth Excelsior location, because of our growth.

We moved to our new location at 701 Highway 7 in February 2007. This location has allowed us to present all of our home displays in a large open area. We also now have plenty of parking spaces to accommodate our visitors.

Our customer base has grown from Excelsior to all of the Minnetonka area and west, to include the cities of Victoria, Chaska, Waconia, St Bonifacious and beyond.

During these years of growth we have aligned ourselves with national companies such as Carpet One, and Magnus Anderson floor refinishers. This has allowed us access to major brands of  flooring products, such as Carpeting, Ceramic Tile and Wood Flooring of all types. This has also given us fast delivery, better pricing and superior service from our suppliers. Because of this structure, we are able to share with you the customer, the savings we experience.

Our growth has allowed us to keep our knowledgable employees. They all understand customers needs. We supply the proper service, and above all we listen. They will assist you in reaching your goals when it comes to decorating.

In todays Environment, it's important to know what's Green and what's not. Products are changing quickly and some are environmentally friendly. We can keep you informed as to what is friendly to the earth when it comes to the products which we supply.
